Did I do any research?

When I posted pictures of my books on one website someone immediately questioned whether I'd done any research. I guess it's a pretty valid question really, but it would take forever to list all the books I've used. I'm an ABNA quarter-finalist !!!

Okay, so ABNA, for those not addicted to writing competitions, means Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. This is the first year I've dared to enter. And I got an email from Amazon last night to say I'd reached the quarter-finals!
