What Intoxicates my mind? The language of prose. It's like acting--but on paper. I can be whomever I choose, a silly sally, a demure maiden, or quite the comedian at times. I can also be a person of questionable repute. Ahhh, that opens up a whole...

I welcome all comments about my book. Life, whether it be in a novel or lived out each day, is so full of events that shape us, and time goes at the blink of an eye. Come to the page, write a note, and we'll share a moment or two in the world of w...

Thanks, Write Spot, for a place to connect to writers. I enjoy sharing words with other writers, and oddities that catch my eye. Writers seem to know those offbeat things, whether it attaches itself to anything isn't important, it's the unusual that tweak our minds. Post a note, have a ball...

Profile Information

What is your favorite time to write?
When my mind will no longer wait; and the words literally crowd my head. It could be any time of the day, the characters have the say-so; it could also be late in the night with the dark sitting on my shoulders as I type the words across the lighted screen of my computer. THE CHARACTERS HAVE CONTROL...and really I would have it no other way!
What are your favorite genres?
Romance, Suspense, and mind-boggling mysteries. I love any story that grabs my attention and also I love learning about things: different cultures and most of all, how people can relate to each other, and last, the oddity ALWAYS catches my eye and pulls me in.

What Intoxicates my mind?
The language of prose. It's like acting--but on paper. I can be whomever I choose, a silly sally, a demure maiden, or quite the comedian at times. I can also be a person of questionable repute. Ahhh, that opens up a whole new world, so many adventures, so many tarty ladies to mimic--who's to stop my pen from letting me go where the fainthearted dares to wander? And then there's always the mysterious lady who shows up whenever excitement throbs; and the toughy girl who t… Continue

The Write Spot/ What a Prompting Title...and of course, I write!

I have come across a lot of sites, but when the word 'write' is part of the heading, my mind is instantly alerted: so I stop, and write. I have a new novel out titled, THE LONG NIGHT MOON, and am indebted for the many delightful comments and reviews coming from readers. This work took a long nine years to write, but the story and the characters, put inside a drawer when my husband faced two life-threatening health issues, would not let my mind rest; they kept at me until I picked their story up… Continue
