What is your favorite time to write?
Whenever the mood hits, to be honest. I often come up with ideas whilst asking myself one simple, age old question: what if?
What are your favorite genres?
Thriller, horror, suspense, and mystery.
I am a sixteen year old artist, who, honestly, loves to write. When I was in fourth grade, I was reading on a seventh grade level. I was in a gifted pull-out program for reading during most of elementary school. To say I was a voracious reader growing up would be a gross understatement. I hungered for words well beyond my years. I would fall asleep at night as a little kid with a book on my chest. I would stay up hours past my bedtime just to find out what happened on the next page in a book. Writing can take you anywhere, and I think that is one reason I love it so much; you can visit Paris or Hong Kong without ever paying hefty travel bills! It's just amazing. I've been on so many extravagant adventures because of books. I've visited the English countryside with James Herriot, and investigated murders with Tana French. I've even been to the Vatican with Dan Brown! Writing will always mean the world to me, regardless of whether or not I get published, although being an author is a goal of mine. I hope to be published before I turn eighteen. I am currently working on a thriller.

More Of My Work.........

I thought I'd post a few more pages worth, to give everyone a better picture of where I'm going with this. I try to portray Jack and Abigail as most newly married couples are: young and carefree, yet without being too childish. I hold very highly in regard a person who is both immature and mature, only if they know when to be which. This is how I want them to be seen. I want them to have an air of youth whilst also being able to handle the challenges of the adult world.
I don't want this to soun… Continue

An Excerpt For Your Kind Critique.......

This is an excerpt from one of my current thriller projects. I don't want to reveal much of the plot just yet. I am curious as to what people think of my writing as it is here now. I am sixteen years old. Please be honest.
The story revolves around newly married couple, Jack and Abigail Rainier, who have just returned from their honeymoon, and are preparing to spend the holidays with Jack's family. When Abigail was twelve, she was forced to witness the attepted suicide of her babysitter, with a… Continue

My baby is named Puff. He's a Lhasa and is 11 years old. He's blind in one eye and going blind in the other. He has a heart problem and liver problem. The doctor can't do much more for him and said to keep him from getting too excited and over heated. He has taken care of me for 11 years so I'll take care of him for as long as I can.

I think your creativity in school was wonderful. The other kids were probably wishing they were as creative as you are. Just keep with your dreams.

I'm so impressed to see someone you age being so creative. You are an exceptional person. I have 2 quotes I want you to always remember.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
"Do the things you think you cannot do." Both are by Eleanor Roosevelt and I try to make them a part of my life everyday.
